About this role

The Principal Advisor provides expert advice to the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer, the Ministry of Health and Government and leads, co-ordinates and develops policy on issues relating to midwifery professional practice.  Engagement with a broad range of stakeholders is an important aspect of the role

 

Crown Clerk 11/12, starting salary from $145,378 - $168,130 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing

 

Day to day work involves writing briefs and responses, sometimes with very tight timelines, researching and providing advice, meeting with a range of stakeholders and progressing a number of statewide programs and projects.

.

About you 

 

The Nursing and Midwifery Office team has a unique role in engaging with the NSW Health system. The right person will enjoy working collaboratively as part of a small team, showing flexibility and initiative to achieve outcomes for the State.
