Selection Criteria to be Addressed:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Podiatry and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current NSW State Driver Licence, including P1 or above and willingness to use for work purposes.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in the provision of Podiatry services including: • An understanding of the impact and management of chronic health conditions, ageing and disability. • Assessment, care planning, treatment and management of clients who have chronic and complex health conditions in a community setting.
- Level 1: recent graduates with less than 3 years clinical experience. Level 2: Minimum three years clinical experience as a Podiatrist, and are expected to be competent independent practitioners, with who can work under minimal direct supervision.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Integrated Care initiatives/the Strategic Framework for Integrating Care is an advantage.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to evidence based practice and the ability to demonstrate how evidence based practice has been incorporated into your professional work.
- Demonstrated high level skills in written and oral communication and capacity to apply these skills with clients/carers, staff and other service agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently at a professional level as well as the ability to work productively as a member of a multidisciplinary team in a community health setting.
