What you'll be doing
 
This is an exciting to become a part of Australia’s largest health system by joining the statewide workforce pool known as ‘CRU’, the Central Resource Unit.

We are looking for a Podiatrist to provide patient centred care for people presenting with “at risk” and “high risk” foot pathologies. The primary responsibility is to provide podiatric care as part of a multidisciplinary high risk foot team and in a sub-acute step-down service. The Podiatrist is also responsible for participation in quality improvement activities, clinical supervision, professional development and completing required administrative tasks.

Where you'll be working
 
The CRU Podiatrist workforce will be deployed to locations across NSW Health from anywhere between two and thirteen weeks to support short-term staffing needs. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of health settings when on deployment.

Targeted Questions

  1. Current Podiatry registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra). To be appointed as a Level 2 Health Professional evidence must be provided of three years' clinical experience.
  2. Tell us about your ability to work independently and as part of a team managing complex case loads.
  3. Provide examples of your involvement in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process.
  4. Give examples of your clinical knowledge, skills, and experience in high-risk foot pathologies.
  5. Current drivers’ licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional/remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.
