Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. - Checks: Aged Care Check and Working with Children Check
- Registration: Current registration with AHPRA
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated knowledge in the treatment and management of patients; who may be distressed, presenting with foot wounds according to establish best practice guidelines
- Willingness to participate in ongoing education and promotion of the Foot Wound Clinic, Westmead Hospital
- Knowledge and compliance of OH&S and Infection Control policies and legislation and willingness to participate in continuous Quality Improvement activities
- Knowledge in the prescription and application of orthotic therapy and offloading modalities
- Experience or knowledge of computerised gait analysis, orthotic therapy and offloading modalities
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within an interdisciplinary team
- Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
- Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail
