What you'll be doing
This role involves delivering high-quality physiotherapy services within the Geriatric Medicine Department at WSLHD. The position supports service planning, improvement, and evaluation, with a focus on teamwork and inclusivity. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Providing high-quality physiotherapy to WSLHD patients.
  • Contributing to service planning, implementation, and reporting.
  • Requires full-time work, including some weekends and public holidays.
  • Belonging to a welcoming team that fosters positive work culture.
  • Supporting a smooth transition for the successful candidate.

Essential Criteria:

Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy
Current General Physiotherapy Registration under AHPRA.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent, current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) and current unrestricted NSW Drivers licence.
  2. Demonstrated ability to analyse problems, set priorities and apply a range of options to develop solutions skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
  3. Demonstrated computer literacy, high level verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences
  4. Ability to provide high quality physiotherapy services across a broad range of clinical areas.
  5. Effective time management and organisational skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  7. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and knowledge of Quality Improvement & Evidenced Based Practice.
