This is an exciting opportunity for a physiotherapist with specialist skills in geriatric evaluation and management (GEM) to commence with our physiotherapy department at the new, state of the art Tweed Valley Hospital. The Tweed Valley Hospital represents one of the largest regional capital health investments funded entirely by the NSW Government and will include expanded operating theatres, emergency department, medical and surgical services, GEM, new interventional cardiology and radiotherapy services, comprehensive cancer care as well as enhanced ambulatory care services. The successful candidate for this Level 3 physiotherapy position will be an integral member of our senior physiotherapy team and will play a key role in the development and servicing of the GEM unit within Tweed Valley Hospital. In addition to clinical management within the GEM unit, the position will also be responsible for the supervision and upskilling of our rotational physiotherapy team. This Maternity Leave backfill position is advertised full time however, if required, job share will be considered.
