Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in a part time capacity. Working within a 30-bed ward, this role is supported by a collaborative team including Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality physiotherapy services to an assigned caseload, applying advanced clinical skills to assess and treat patients effectively. This includes conducting comprehensive assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and managing a busy caseload by prioritising patients according to clinical need. The role also involves educating patients and their carers about physiotherapy goals and treatment plans, and ensuring discharge planning includes appropriate referrals and patient involvement.

What you will bring to the role
- Degree in Physiotherapy and National Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated ability to provide high quality clinical services across a broad range of clinical areas
- Demonstrated effective written & verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated effective time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and demonstrated knowledge of & experience with Quality Improvement & Evidence Based practice
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
