Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.

Hawkesbury District Hospital is offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team. This rotational role spans both acute inpatient care and outpatient services, including fracture management and group exercise programs, providing a diverse and rewarding clinical experience. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive environment where professional development is encouraged, and clinical reasoning is valued.

As a Physiotherapist at Hawkesbury District Hospital, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to our patients, contributing to the exceptional care standards upheld by Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD). You will report directly to the Physiotherapy Team Leader and work closely with a multidisciplinary team committed to patient-centered care.

What you will bring to the role

  1. Degree in Physiotherapy and Current Full National Physiotherapy Registration with AHPRA.
  2. Demonstrated effective written & verbal communication skills.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  4. Demonstrated ability to provide high quality clinical services across a broad range of clinical areas
  5. Demonstrated effective time management skills.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and demonstrated knowledge of & experience with Quality Improvement & Evidence Based Practice
  7. Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
