Selection Criteria

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management, in a health related field or equivalent experience in health analytics.
  2. Strong knowledge and demonstrated ability in the analysis and interpretation of data captured by the major health data systems used in NSW Health.
  3. Experience with the development, building, querying and maintaining of reports and databases with a knowledge of NSW Health data warehousing and reporting tools, such as Health Information Exchange (HIE) and EDWARD. Ability to code in SQL would be highly regarded.
  4. Proven high level analytical skills, ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately, and the ability to organise and deliver high volume workload within deadlines.
  5. High level management skills including experience in managing project administrative processes and ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with diverse groups.
  6. Current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence is highly desirable.
