About The Opportunity
South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) is seeking a talented and dynamic Performance Reporting Specialist to complement the Data and Analytics team within Digital Health.
The ideal candidate will be an outstanding collaborator and pro-active problem-solver, with excellent technical Power BI skills to transform complex datasets into clear visual stories and results. You will also have a passion for developing data solutions which support positive health service improvement performance.
What You'll Be Doing
There is also a requirement to link data types e.g. Workforce, Finance and Activity to enhance report utility and guide appropriate responsive action.

Liverpool Hospital Eastern Campus is an integral part of the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct, focusing on education, research, and specialised healthcare services.
The Eastern Campus houses the Liverpool Education and Research Centre, which includes conference facilities, seminar rooms, and a computer room, providing a hub for medical education and professional development.
This campus supports various training programs and events, such as advanced trauma days and emergency resuscitation courses, enhancing the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals.
Located in Warwick Farm, the Eastern Campus is easily accessible and plays a crucial role in fostering innovation and excellence in healthcare within the South Western Sydney Local Health District.

- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Outline your health data experience, including the use of SQL to query repositories such as the electronic Medical Record (eMR), Health Information Exchange (HIE), eHealth Data Lake (eDL), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Oracle Financials and Stafflink.
- How do you use your outstanding technical expertise, as well as using ability to program digital solutions to automate reporting and aid data collection / consolidation.
- Desribe your success in the delivery of reports which have provided business value.
- Provide examples of how you demonstrate your solid work ethic including your ability to problem-solve, self-direct, prioritise workload, meet deadlines with minimal supervision, and escalate issues as required.
- Describe how you use your highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Capability to build rapport, influence and negotiate successful outcomes.
- Outline your knowledge of health data processes, policies, definitions and governance.
- Provide examples of how you demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset, with a willingness to learn and adopt new methods and procedures including working in areas of limited precedence.
