About the role
The primary purpose of the role is to provide individual and group support to consumers by working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to promote engagement of people in their individual treatment and recovery.
38hrs per week – Monday to Friday 830am to 5pm. No public holidays or weekends.
Lachlan CMHDA consists of a multidisciplinary team of mental health, drug & alcohol professionals. Parkes Safe Haven is a peer led team which offer a similar service in a non-clinical environment.
Being able to support people to navigate the mental health system, model hope and recovery; connectedness and citizenship to promote wellness and undertake individual advocacy for people who access the service.
You will work collaboratively and be supported by a multi-disciplinary team in the provision of these services including carer/family support.
