About the role:
The Patient Transport Officer provides patient transport within and outside the Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD), for a range of reasons including hospital transfers, diagnostic appointments and medical consultations; enabling the provision of quality and safe patient care.

This is a targeted position in accordance with GSE Rule 26: Employment of eligible persons.‚Äč Whereby Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply and, where found suitable, will be given higher priority under affirmative action in order to improve access to employment and career opportunities. In the event there are no suitable Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants, then applications from non-Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants will be considered.
