Patient Safety Clinical Quality Manager
Selection Criteria
- Current nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and appropriate post graduate qualifications or working towards same.
- Demonstrated high level problem solving, analytical, research skills, and project management, this includes developing and implementing solutions to complex critical incidents or identified adverse incident trends
- A sound understanding of, and demonstrated ability to implement patient safety and clinical quality principles and processes, combined with a working knowledge of quality management systems used to review and monitor Serious Adverse Event Reviews
- High level oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and experience in providing expert advice to multi disciplines including senior medical and clinical groups, both internal and external to the organisation
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of detailed and complex reports and briefs
- Ability to apply the principles of clinical practice improvement to develop and monitor implementation plans and support multi disciplines including senior medical and clinical staff in achieving desired outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, make judgements and organise high volumes of workload with competing deadlines
- Ability to travel in accordance with the requirements of the position, Class C Drivers Licence.
