PARVAN Referral Management & Early Response Clinician - Psychologist/Social Worker Level 3

Selection Criteria:

1. Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or a Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW ); including the ability to demonstrate a practical application of the Psychology/AASW Code of Ethics.
2. Extensive direct clinical experience providing psychosocial assessments, crisis counselling, case management and group work for people (including children) who have experienced violence, abuse, neglect and trauma.
3. Demonstrated understanding and application of evidence based models of care and demonstrated positive clinical outcomes for clients exposed to or experiencing trauma.
4. Demonstrated understanding and application of legislation related to violence, abuse and neglect.
5. Demonstrated high level ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both verbally and in writing, and proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Demonstrated competence in the use of electronic information systems.
6. Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and manage stressful situations; ability to work unsupervised and apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel or critical nature
7. Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement activities and service evaluation processes with other staff and capacity to provide clinical supervision.
8. Current NSW Drivers License, with the ability to travel in accordance with position responsibilities.
