- Registered Nurse Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioners’ Regulation Agency (AHPRA), with five years post graduate experience including three years’ experience in the speciality of Gastrointestinal Surgery or Oncology nursing.
- Post Graduate qualification in gastrointestinal or oncology nursing and a recognised tertiary qualification at Masters’ level or evidence of substantial completion of same or equivalent experience deemed appropriate.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to maintain and establish networks across multiple disciplines.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence based practice through participation in research based projects and activities.
- Effective organisational, time management, research and computer skills and proven ability to assess, plan, initiate and manage complex cases and work to goals and targets.
- Demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development and quality improvement.
