Selection Criteria:
- Registered with the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists as Advanced trainee (FRANCR written and clinical examination) or equivalent
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible to be registered with the relevant medical board of Australia
- Demonstrated interest in Paediatric Radiology with 12 months or more experience in Paediatric Radiology is preferred, although other relevant subspecialty radiology training will be considered.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with other health professionals.
- Ongoing commitment to further education and professional development and demonstrated ability to teach and willingness to participate in the teaching of Medical Students, Junior Medical Staff and other clinical staff.
- Demonstrated contribution to the development of hospital services eg participation in paediatric junior staff matters, representation on behalf of the Hospital, participation in Hospital Committees preferable.
- Understanding of research methodology or research experience and a willingness to undertake research proposals.
