- Relevant current registration from the Dental Board of Australia as an Oral Health Therapist or both the registrations of Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist.
- Demonstrate high level recent clinical proficiencies and patient management practice in the provision of oral health care, commensurate with years of experience.
- Demonstrated evidence for consideration of Level 1 Oral Health Therapist, or Level 2 Oral Health Therapist.
- Sound understanding of population and public oral health issues with a demonstrated commitment to health promotion programs, activities, with skills in presentation, training and group facilitation.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people including co-workers, patients and other health professionals as an effective team member.
- Willingness to participate, or evidence of participation in quality activities.
- Knowledge and thorough understanding of current Dental Infection Control procedures.
- Current valid and unrestricted Australian State or Territory drivers licence, and willingness to travel and work in various locations within the district.
