Operational Nurse Manager (Grade 4)
Selection Criteria
- Recent management experience with experience in leading staff and managing services in the relevant setting, supported by a relevant tertiary management qualification and/or work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team and to represent the nursing/midwifery service inside and outside the organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in managing key priorities and delivering successful strategies to deliver service outcomes and KPIs within tightly defined resources.
- Demonstrated understanding and participation in the implementation of organisational change, risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
- Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking to set goals, formulate plans and policies to achieve identified outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change and guide others through change processes.
