Essential Criteria
Qualification: Degree or Diploma recognised by AAOT-NSW
Registration: AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
Selection Criteria
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy recognised by AAOT-NSW and eligible for membership to AAOT-NSW and eligible for registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated clinical experience in an acute care including experience in discharge planning, home assessment, home modifications and equipment prescription
- Extensive experience with patients in mixed medical and surgical units including orthopaedics, trauma, general surgical, vascular and general medical
- Skills in planning, implementing and evaluating intervention programmes
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills and effective time management and organisational skills
- Commitment to ongoing education, professional development, quality improvement and research
- Current drivers licence
