Position Classification: Nurse Practitioner / Transitional Nurse Practitioner (TNP will be under a maximum 3-year contract paid at CNC2 whilst undertaking requirements to become an Endorsed Nurse Practitioner. On endorsement, the position holder will transition to NP Year 1.)
Remuneration: $131,870.90 - $149,538.56 pa (+ superannuation + salary packaging options

About the role
Looking for a Transitional Nurse Practitioner (TNP) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) role? Join the vibrant and professional Mental Health Drug & Alcohol team.

You will need to be able to manage a broad range of acute and chronic presentations to address patient and community needs, including receiving and making referrals to facilitate integrated care across disciplines or teams.

You will provide respectful, person-centred care, tailored to each individual’s needs. Central to your role will be employing a relevant and holistic approach to care, including
applying diagnostic reasoning to formulate diagnoses to inform clinical decision making and engage multidisciplinary team and patients in this process.

Your contribution as a healthcare professional will have a meaningful and positive impact, which is felt at a community level.

This position will provide Drug & Alcohol Clinician Liaison in the Emergency Department and across the Dubbo and Regions.
