What you'll be doing
Lead, shape, and improve outpatient nursing services in a dynamic leadership role. As Nurse Manager – OPD, you'll ensure high standards of care, drive quality initiatives, and champion patient and staff wellbeing.

  • Managing, coaching, and supporting OPD nursing staff.
  • Driving service improvement and clinical governance.
  • Overseeing budgets, rosters, and booking systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and health standards.
  • Fostering a values-led, patient-centred culture.

Essential Criteria:

  • Registration in line with Award requirements: Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration

Selection Criteria:

  1. Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  2. Demonstrated well developed leadership skills and highly developed communication skills including the ability to manage conflicts and performance issues when they arise.
  3. Recent management experience with skill in leading staff and managing services in the relevant setting, supported by a relevant tertiary management qualification and/or work experience.
  4. Demonstrated ability to undertake planning for and monitor performance in areas of responsibility for both individuals and teams.
  5. Demonstrated ability to manage change and guide others through change processes.
  6. Demonstrated ability to identify the need for and initiate the development of policy relating to the nursing service.
  7. Proficiency in the use of IT systems that support the role.
