Selection Criteria:

 

  1. Current registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia, and a current unrestricted NSW driver’s licence.
  2. Holds a relevant post registration qualification or minimum 3 years clinical experience in AoD nursing (or related clinical area) and relevant post registration education experience and qualification (e.g. Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessor).
  3. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others.
  4. Experience in developing and delivering health training and educational packages and knowledge of adult education principles, including competency attainment and assessment.
  5. Demonstrated clinical teaching & facilitation skills.
  6. Demonstrated track record in collaborating, negotiating, advocating and communicating effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Demonstrated high level of computer literacy and an understanding of hospital information systems.
  8. Demonstrated organisational and time management skills including managing projects within timeframes in a high volume work environment.
