- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
- Holds a post registration clinical or education qualification relevant to the position
- Recent experience in the development of practice
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation
- Demonstrated ability to develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate education and training programs
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary adult learning principles
- Computer literacy and understanding of relevant information systems
- Experience in working within a developmental framework, including experience in facilitating groups
