Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management, or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of qualification and work experience, with eligibility for full membership of the Health Information Management Association of Australia.
- Extensive skills and experience in the use of standard Microsoft Office applications and specialised health information systems such as iPM, Powerchart and KOFAX scanning applications.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of all relevant NSW Health policies, procedures, standards and legislation.
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated strong organisational skills, with capacity to successfully complete several tasks concurrently, whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills to enhance staff performance, influence workplace culture, and lead change.
- Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, and other key stakeholders.
