The successful candidate will clinically screen newborn babies in the first days of life for hearing loss prior to their discharge home.

What you will bring to the role
- Ability to read and write English to an acceptable standard with clear and effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience in working with mothers and infants
- Previous experience of having worked in a health care setting
- Positive and enthusiastic manner and able to work independently under direction and seeks guidance and supervision as required
- Basic computer skills
- Holds a current drivers licence
- Ability to work in a team, enhancing the capability and contribution of the team
- Knowledge of the newborn hearing screening program
