Selection Criteria

1. A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the FPMANZCA and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
2. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organization; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment and MLHD Values, goals and strategies.
3. Sound clinical knowledge in Pain Medicine demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position including evidence of participation in quality assurance activities relevant to the specialty.
4. Demonstrated clinical, diagnostic and technical skills commensurate with functioning as an independent Pain Medicine Consultant
5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
6. Demonstrated participation in and commitment to undergraduate, postgraduate, interdisciplinary teaching and education, including research, quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
7. Commitment to on-site attendance, as will be required for some patient care and other clinical responsibilities.
