MHDA Engagement Manager

- Ability to develop, monitor and achieve outcomes of strategic and business plans, guide and motivate staff through this process.
- Demonstrated experience in successful project/change management from inception through to evaluation and completion, including financial and personnel management and the ability to develop, implement and evaluate evidence based policies and procedures.
- Strong understanding of contemporary issues, challenges and directions for consumer engagement/participation and consumer peer workforce within mental health and drug and alcohol services.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and experience at all levels of the organisation with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders; including sound knowledge and practical skills utilising MS Office software, email programs, the internet, and social media.
- Demonstrated time management skills including an ability to effectively organise the workload with competing priorities, limited resources and the complexities of multiple site communications and service delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in events management, and/or facilitating meetings and groups/forums, including multidisciplinary groups/diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Sound track record of working successfully both anonymously and as part of a team.
