Mental Health Telephone Access Clinician (COVID 19)

Essential Criteria:

Qualification:  Tertiary qualifications as Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Social Worker
Registration: Demonstrated full registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist; Eligible for membership of AASW for Social Workers

Selection Criteria:

1. Demonstrated highly developed skills in mental health assessment and care provision.

2. Ability to work with minimal supervision in managing complex presentations.

3. Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of the NSW Mental Health Act 2007.

4. Demonstrated highly developed communications skills encompassing analysis, problem solving and negotiation.

5. Experience and expertise in working with people with severe mental health difficulties.

6. High level customer service skills with the ability to engage, develop and sustain working relationships quickly and effectively.

7. Computer competence and literacy including the use of healthcare electronic medical record systems.

8. Ability to participate in a 7 day roster.
