Mental Health Clinician - HASI (Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative) Plus

Essential Criteria:

Checks: National Police Check and Working with Children Check
Qualification: Tertiary graduate qualification in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology or Occupational Therapy
Registration: Current unrestricted authority to practice as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); for social workers - eligibility to be a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). 

Selection Criteria:

1. Significant clinical experience within a multi-disciplinary team environment providing mental health evidence based practice within a recovery paradigm, using a variety of psychosocial interventions to assist in consumer goals attainment, including but not limited to psycho-education, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioural therapy.
2. Demonstrated experience in planning implementation and evaluation of clinical services or programs.
3. Demonstrated experience working with consumers with a forensic or custodial history and extensive clinical experience in the under taking of risk assessments and development and implementation of behavioural management plans within a group residential setting.
4. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills (telephone, written and verbal).
5. Demonstrated experience working in partnership and collaboratively with NGO service partners, WSLHD or similar services and teams and other key stakeholders including NSW Ministry of Health, primary care providers.
6. Demonstrated experience in the provision of individual and group clinical supervision and the development of staff training.
7. Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia.
