About the Role
Concord Repatriation General Hospital is a principal referral facility and a teaching hospital of the University of Sydney. We offer a comprehensive range of specialty and sub-specialty services, many recognised nationally and internationally as centres of excellence. Major services include geriatrics and rehabilitation medicine, cardiology, neurology and neurosurgery, colorectal and laparoscopic surgery, gastroenterology, bone and joint services, cancer services, haematology, respiratory medicine and sleep studies, molecular biology and genetics, and those provided through the internationally acknowledged Statewide Burns Service, in which Concord plays a major part.
The Medical Allocations and Development Unit (MADU) Administration Officer supports the Manager and staff of MADU along with the Directors of Prevocational Education and Training (DPET) and Medical Education (DME). You will have primary responsibility for participating in all aspects of medical administration, recruitment, education and training and other professional functions relating to the medical workforce. In this position you will support junior and senior doctors at Concord Hospital as well as our Network hospitals and be the front face of the Department, therefore excellent communication with all stakeholders is essential. Candidates will need to be organised, flexible and able to meet tight deadlines for a constantly changing medical workforce.
