Selection Criteria

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in health management, business administration, human resources or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge and capacity to implement the industrial awards and policies related to the employment, rostering and payroll for junior medical officers.
  3. Demonstrated ability to determine priorities for others, delegate tasks, develop, coach and monitor work performance of staff to achieve work objectives within timeframes.
  4. Excellent negotiation, liaison, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to work confidently and courteously with people at all levels and deliver customer service.
  5. Demonstrated initiative and the ability to bring a creative approach to problem solving.
  6. Ability to work independently and with a demonstrated capacity for effective teamwork.
  7. Demonstrated ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail and commitment to providing a quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures.
  8. Ability to travel in accordance with the position responsibilities.
