Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health management, business administration, human resources or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and capacity to implement the industrial awards and policies related to the employment, rostering and payroll for junior medical officers.
- Demonstrated ability to determine priorities for others, delegate tasks, develop, coach and monitor work performance of staff to achieve work objectives within timeframes.
- Excellent negotiation, liaison, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to work confidently and courteously with people at all levels and deliver customer service.
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to bring a creative approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work independently and with a demonstrated capacity for effective teamwork.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail and commitment to providing a quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures.
- Ability to travel in accordance with the position responsibilities.
