- Perform expert breast imaging and diagnostic mammography across multiple sites
- Ensure compliance with BreastScreen & WSLHD standards and QA protocols
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care
- Accurately complete and manage imaging data in RIS/PACS and BIS systems
- Work varied shifts, including weekends, while maintaining WHS practices
About you:
You are a compassionate and skilled radiographer with a passion for breast imaging and early cancer detection. You combine expert technical ability with empathy and cultural sensitivity, and thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
- Proficient in high-quality 2D & 3D mammography, image assessment & positioning
- Knowledgeable in breast anatomy, pathology, WHS, infection control & NAS compliance
- Culturally competent, with experience working with Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander & CALD communities
- Strong communicator who can support anxious or vulnerable clients with empathy and care
- Flexible team player with research interest, mentoring experience & a commitment to service excellence

Essential Criteria:
- License: NSW EPA Radiation Licence IA14
- Qualification: Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science – Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- Registration: Registered with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA).
Selection Criteria:
- High level customer service skills and Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
- Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail and Ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative
- Highly developed communication with working in a multidisciplinary team and other health professionals
- Demonstrated skill in the analysis of complex issues and problem solving, Understanding of the management of patient complaints and patient privacy
- Experience in mammography with knowledge of quality assurance would be desirable. Maintaining high quality imaging, performing over 50% of Perfect and Good imaging, keep below the Repeat Rate (2%) and Technical Recall Rate of all imaging.
- Ability to assist in training others (give orientation and be able to supervise when required)
- Working towards completing Certificate of Clinical Proficiency in Mammography certificate or willing to obtain within 12 months of starting
