About us:
The BreastScreen NSW Hunter New England Service is made up of a mix of multi-disciplinary teams who work at both the Waratah, Tamworth and Green Hills centres as well as the mobile units that travel over the Hunter and New England Areas. We all work together within the BreastScreen NSW program, which aims to improve the survival rates of woman with breast cancer by providing free screening mammograms to woman aged 50-74.

About the role:
A typical week involves analysing client and population data to plan, develop and implement local promotions relating to our BreastScreen NSW centres and mobile vans. It also involves managing a small and dedicated team within HNE.

As the successful applicant, you will be supported in the role by the Manager BreastScreen NSW HNE.

About you:
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, health education, health promotion or other relevant tertiary qualifications and/or substantial proven experience in marketing, health education or health promotion.
  • Ability to meet competing demands.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to foster long term stakeholder engagement.
