Selection Criteria

  1. Tertiary qualifications (degree level minimum) in health, with demonstrated experience in project management in a health care setting.
  2. Experience with virtual care / telehealth implementation in clinical practices; high level of understanding of virtual care and telehealth technologies and their application; and the ability to work with technology partners.
  3. Demonstrated ability to inspire, lead and motivate staff and stakeholders, as well as an ability to form effective working relationships with all the stakeholders including senior clinicians, senior managers and external partners.
  4. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills including interpersonal, negotiation and consultation skills and ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.
  5. Ability to work independently with limited supervision, organising workloads effectively and managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  6. High level strategic, conceptual, analytical and creative skills, along with the ability to provide high level advice and contribute to policy and planning processes and the implementation of strategic service delivery initiatives.
  7. Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.

This is a Category ‘A’ position, please read and understand NSW Health policy directive PD2020_017.  All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy.

OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza and is compulsory for NSW Staff that enter any Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or who work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs.
