About the Opportunity
The Manager of Sessional Interpreters, Health Translation Unit, Research and Training, is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational delivery of four key portfolios: sessional interpreter services, translator panel coordination, translation project management, and the facilitation of research and training initiatives.
The role ensures high-quality language services that meet the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse communities, supports evidence-based practice through collaboration with research partners, and drives continuous improvement through staff development and sector capacity-building activities.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in management, linguistic or related discipline, or relevant industry experience.
- Describe your experience in leading and managing teams, particularly sessional staff, to achieve organisational goals.
- How have you designed and delivered workforce development or training initiatives in a professional setting?
- Provide examples of your project management and organisational skills, including any supervisory responsibilities.
- What is your understanding of translation service processes, and how have you supported multilingual resource development or health-related research?
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
