Hunter New England Health is looking for a strategic and skilled Property Portfolio Manager to take charge of a diverse and expansive portfolio spanning corporate, clinical, and community-based facilities across the district. About the Role:

As Manager, Property and PPP Contract administration, your week will be dynamic and varied. You'll be responsible for: 

• Managing and optimising a diverse portfolio of properties used for clinical and corporate services. 

• Overseeing property planning to ensure staff have high-quality, safe, and fit-for-purpose workplaces. 

• Leading strategic property initiatives, including capital works projects and policy-driven facility management. 

• Contract management and stakeholder engagement, ensuring effective partnerships with internal and external groups. 

• Contributing to the long-term vision of our property strategy and development. 

• Principle contact for the HNE PPP contract for the Calvary Mater Newcastle facility and support services. This will include managing contract compliance in a way that maintains stakeholder relationships and ensures risks are managed and mitigated.

We need a strategic thinker with strong property and facility management experience. The ideal candidate will have: 

Essential Skills & Experience: 

• Background in property management, facilities management, or contract management. 

• Broad property skills with an understanding of policy-driven work. 

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, working across executive and operational teams. 

What Can Be Learned? 

• Specific systems or processes unique to our health district. 

• Organisation-specific property and capital works planning frameworks.
