Reporting to the Director Strategy & Innovation you will meet the following selection criteria:

  1. Relevant qualifications in project and program management or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
  2. Extensive knowledge and understanding of contemporary program management techniques, including the use of software to monitor and report on a portfolio of projects.
  3. Superior skills in relationship management, influencing, negotiating, consulting and communicating, both oral and written, on complex issues.
  4. Superior skills in project design, management and review, and demonstrated experience in successfully managing large and complex projects or programs.
  5. Advanced problem solving, conceptual thinking, and analytical skills.
  6. Issues management skills and ability to work within short timeframes on sensitive and complex matters and provide high level advice.
  7. Demonstrated capacity to lead and motivate a team of project support and project and program management professionals.
  8. Demonstrated people management skills, including providing staff support, staff development, performance management and the early identification of unacceptable workplace behaviours and taking appropriate action such as investigation, resolution and monitoring of harassment and bullying, grievance issues and conflict resolution.

Managers are required to implement actions that either prevent or minimise the risk of unacceptable behaviours, ensuring unacceptable behaviours such as bullying, harassment and victimisation are identified as early as possible and responded to and effectively managed.
