What you'll be doing
Lead operational readiness for WSLHD Redevelopment Projects, ensuring efficient transitions into new and refurbished facilities. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes and support operational change management processes. In this role you will:
- Oversee operational commissioning strategies for new facilities.
- Collaborate with executives and multidisciplinary teams.
- Coordinate activities for safe transitions in patient care.
- Drive operational change management across projects.
- Ensure timely and efficient project completion.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated extensive experience in project/change management within a large, complex healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience within the context of capital works projects including health facility planning and commissioning activities including decanting, and time constraints involved.
- Demonstrated success in managing and prioritising multiple complex project tasks to effectively lead project teams towards the successful achievement of project objectives.
- Demonstrated superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of an integrated project team.
- Demonstrated high-level oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills applicable to a diverse range of stakeholders including senior clinicians, executives, and external partners with a proven track record in establishing and building trust to achieve shared goals.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities, achieve objectives and deliver quality results on a range of complex projects whilst working to tight deadlines.
- High level computer literacy skills, especially in MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and other project management applications.
- Current NSW Driver’s license and ability to travel as required by position across LHD.
