- Demonstrated understanding of system wide view of health care and population health provision, promotion and management to improve health outcomes for the Northern NSW population.
- Demonstrated highly developed policy development and strategic planning experience related to population health.
- Excellent senior level management and leadership experience including finance, staff, programs and organisational development, research and stimulating and managing innovation.
- Demonstrated ability to make complex decisions on a range of strategic issues and take initiative through delegated responsibility.
- Demonstrated strategic understanding of health promotion theory and practice.
- Ability to initiate and manage complex relationships with key alliance partners and manage the politics constructively.
- Capacity to lead a diverse staff group through strategic and structural change.
- Valid unrestricted drivers’ licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment.
