Reporting to the Director, Healthy Workplace Strategies you will meet the following knowledge skills and experience:

 

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health related discipline and/or experience in developing health and wellbeing programs.
  2. Sound understanding and experience applying evidence based practice in health promotion and injury prevention to employees or equivalent.
  3. Demonstrated people management skills, including leading a team, providing support, staff development, performance management and the early identification of unacceptable workplace behaviours and taking appropriate action such as review, resolution and the monitoring of harassment and bullying, grievance issues and conflict resolution.
  4. Knowledge of the emergency services sector and understanding of the challenges faced by emergency services personnel and its associated impact on employee health.
  5. Demonstrated project management experience from inception to implementation and evaluation.
  6. High level negotiation, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff.
