Management Accountant Broken Hill
Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Finance and/or proven extensive/recent experience and skills using accounting standards and practices for financial management improvement particularly in the Public Sector.
- Demonstrated experience in full budget preparation, budget cash flow, maintenance of budget variations and staff profiles.
- Demonstrated experience in the application of budgetary control and management reporting on a facility/cost centre/program/basis, including developing full year projections.
- Significant communication skills and experience in the establishment of formal relationships with units and stakeholders, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people and organisations including external clients.
- High level and demonstrated sound organisational, analytical and complex problem solving skills with the ability to successfully manage competing priorities, deliver quality outcomes and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems, languages and reporting tools appropriate to an accounting environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing systems and tools in the analysis and development of roadmaps.
