Maintenance Officer/Gardener - Moruya
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in gardens and grounds maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to operate, maintain and undertake minor mechanical repairs and maintenance on gardens and grounds equipment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of herbicide, pesticide and fertiliser use and applications and knowledge of watering systems, both above and underground.
- Demonstrated time management and problem solving skills necessary to work with limited supervision in an outdoor environment.
- Demonstrated experience in general labouring duties, minor engineering repairs and knowledge of basic cleaning techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common organisational goals.
- Capacity to use effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication and ICT skills such as email, work requisitions and databases.
- Current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances.
