About the Opportunity
AI is transforming our NSW Health system, and we are working to harness its use to address some of our most complex challenges so we can deliver safer, smarter and more connected care for the people of NSW.  
 

As the AI Junior Developer you will play an exciting role in being part of and contributing to the design, development, testing and deployment of AI enabled solutions that support organisational objectives and customer outcomes. Working in a team and reporting to the AI Product Manager, the role assists the delivery of secure, ethical and scalable AI capabilities, participates in agile delivery activities, and contributes to continuous improvement and learning within a multidisciplinary technology environment

About You
We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in communicating and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Foundational knowledge of the software and AI development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, model development, testing, deployment and ongoing iteration.
  • Demonstrated experience writing, maintaining and testing code in relevant programming languages, with the ability to apply software engineering best practices in an AI or data driven development environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering/Development or Information Technology
