Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in high level contract management, including interpretation of legal contracts, managing vendor performance, and meeting KPIs
- Extensive experience and a record of achievement in DHS procurement and category management of a variety of purchase types including but not limited to Hardware Supply and Installation, Software as a Service, Network/Telecommunications Services, System Development and Implementation, etc. in a large and complex service environment, including relevant tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce/Information Technology/Management/Law. This includes expert knowledge and demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and contract management
- Superior analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions
- Superior organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach
- Superior interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with extensive experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders, customers and suppliers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes
- Proven capacity to contribute to and promote strategic initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change, improve performance and project manage
- Detailed understanding of NSW Government DHS Services Scheme and experience in utilising Procure IT framework version 3.1 for procurement and contract management activities
