Please refer to the selection criteria below. For criteria 3 to 7, applicants are strongly encouraged to provide real examples that clearly illustrate their abilities and experience, demonstrating why they should be considered strong candidates. Where possible, applicants should draw on examples beyond university assessment tasks.
- Provide evidence of eligibility to undertake a period of supervised practice as a pharmacy intern according to the requirements of the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
- Evidence in enrolment in a Pharmacy Board approved Intern Training Program prior to commencement of the Internship.
- Excellent clinical knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to practical situations.
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively as an individual or as a team member.
- Highly developed problem-solving ability and demonstrated initiative.
- A thorough understanding of the role of a hospital pharmacist in achieving healthcare outcomes.
