Selection criteria to be addressed:
- Strong understanding of networking technologies, including switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, TCP, IP, VLAN’s, ARP, Spanning Tree), Switch Stacking, DNS, DHCP, SSO, Active Directory, Network Access Controllers, Mobility solutions, 802.11, VPN, Next Generation Firewalls
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and support enterprise-grade wired, wireless, firewalls, VPN and security technologies in a complex mission-critical network environment using a service management framework such as ITIL to provide capacity, availability, problem and incident management.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly diverse team along with the ability to be self-motivated and work in an unsupervised environment as an independent, self-managed multi-skilled IT Network professional.
- Demonstrated experience with a Service Delivery mindset that facilitates the delivery of a high level of customer experience and relationship building across the Enterprise, looking to Identify opportunities and plan for new features to improve the customer experience across ICT products and services by analysing trends in support requests, analytics and technology trends
- Proven experience in participating in network/infrastructure architecture and design workshops to provide innovative technical solutions in a technologically diverse Enterprise environment with experience managing 3rd parties to deliver timely support, consultancy and assistance under both support and project environments
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills with the ability to adjust and translate complex technical issues and to identify and report aspects of a complex network environment issue that require improvement.
- Demonstrated approach to ensuring relevant and up to date working knowledge of IT industry trends and services and current Driver’s Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
