About the role:
In 2024, Hunter New England Local Health District will be opening Baiangbaiyaang, a statewide, comprehensive eating disorder treatment service. This service will include a Residential Eating Disorders Centre (REDC) in Charlestown and an Eating Disorder Day Program (EDDP) in Newcastle. Baiangbaiyaang will operate alongside existing specialised tertiary services, engaging a wide range of stakeholders across both public and private sectors. Operationally, it will be integrated within the Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD).
Additional information:
- An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.
- This position is full time; however, part time arrangements will be considered (minimum 4 days per week).

Requirements:
Our successful candidate will possess the following:
- Certificate III Assistant in Nursing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year) or have equivalent experience.
- Eligible to drive in NSW.
- Must hold a valid Working with Children Check.
