About the Role:

You will be supported to transition into the role by the current Health Service Manager (HSM) and supported by the Service Manager of New England North West. You will also be supported by other HSMs within the sector, as well as a Nurse Practitioner, Visiting Medical Officers, and administration staff.  

You will lead and role model professional clinical service delivery, providing expert advice and managing staff. You will foster collaborative relationships across healthcare teams to optimise patient outcomes and serve as a key liaison between senior managers and frontline staff, ensuring effective two-way communication. Using evidence-based research, you will inform and implement improvements in nursing services, sharing best practices to enhance care quality. You will manage service resources, monitor performance against targets, and lead workforce development through effective recruitment, training, and performance management. Additionally, you will address conflicts, promote a cohesive work environment, and drive policy development to enhance professional practice and service delivery.
