What you'll be doing
Drive meaningful change in health outcomes as Manager, Health Literacy at WSLHD leading strategy, collaboration, and innovation to empower diverse communities. In this role you will:
- Advise Director, Clinical Governance on health literacy
- Lead education programs that improve community outcomes
- Implement and manage the WSLHD Health Literacy Roadmap
- Collaborate with staff, consumers & healthcare leaders
- Co-design patient resources to improve communication

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health discipline, management or related discipline, or relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience to work autonomously, set objectives and meet key deliverable within agreed timeframes.
- Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative working relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful program implementation and sustainability.
- Demonstrated experience in education and training of health care professionals.
- Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy, including high level presentation, negotiation and report writing skills.
- Excellent understanding of the health and social needs of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities and demonstrated ability to develop access strategies.
- Demonstrated skills to undertake and interpret complex analysis using multiple data sources.
- Demonstrated skills in implementing and evaluating the impact of change to inform future initiatives and strategies
