Selection Criteria:
-
Extensive experience in internal corporate communications in a complex organisation with a demonstrable record of driving improvement
-
A track record of developing strategic plans and the operational programs that underpin them to achieve a communications objective
-
The ability to write persuasively, and utilise and integrate collateral such as staff memos, newsletters and other corporate publications to motivate staff and the community and provide information
-
Demonstrated experience in developing internal communications messages in response to organisational risk and issues
-
Demonstrated ability to map internal audiences, interlocking communications systems, and identify the technology and tools to best utilise them
-
Demonstrated ability to lead a small team including management of personal development agreements, training, conflict resolution, and mentoring
-
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders from senior government officers to the community, including people of different cultures

Demonstrated commitment to contributing to good team culture
